Hi all,

I don't mind a drift dive, but have to say I prefer a more relaxing dive exploring the coral and finding the small stuff!

Is there plenty of this type of diving? as I have read plenty about drift dives but not much about the other

thanks

All dives in the maldives are "drift dives" however there is approx 50 dive sites that are available to you. Last year I did a dive but blew my air quickly and went topside as I do and the remaining divers saw a 4m Whale Shark (still spitting feathers) I can asure you that dives to suit everybodies expections are available Adrian

There are a huge variety of dives so you should be able to find something to suit you.
The currents at all dive sites can vary tremendously depending on local conditions and it's not always predictiable as to what you will find when you initially set off.One of the dive school team will go down before the dive to let you know the conditions.
They will be able to let you know what dive sites will be best for you if you let them know what you want so check day to day.
Don't worry you will have some fantastic diving experiences Laughing
