Think of treating my self to a new digital camera mainly for diving & snorkelling. I was thinking of the Panasonic TZ7 with the MCTZ7E underwater case. If anyone has used this camera, can I get some feedback please.
Any other recommendations appreciated baring in mind that I need a camera that will allow me to dive up to 30M.
Budget is £300. |

What software did you use to put the video together. |

Thanks, I just just used the free Windows Movie Maker that comes with Windows 7. Its a bit sluggish in processing but not bad for free. |

Hi Paul,
quick question .... what settings did you use on your camera for taking photos/recording under water?
Did you use any software to clean up your photos?
Cheers
Chas. |

Hi Chas
For the underwater pics I used mainly the underwater setting, this takes away the blue hue you get underwater and slightly increases the red tones. It works pretty well most of the time.
The pictures came out great in shallow water without any post processing but some of the deeper shots had a bit more blue. I touched up a couple of shots using GIMP2 (http://www.gimp.org/) just reducing the blue slightly and adding a touch of red.
