I think you made right decision, I prefer the WV over the JWV on stilts because they have the jacuzzi anyway and you have best of bothe worlds.
No long runway to your room right on the water but also on the beach - wins hands down for me.
We have stayed in all accomodations on Meeru and if I had the money would always go for the WV's. |

Hi Richie and Paul,
We went to Meeru ib September 2010 and booked a WV. We were upgraded to a JWV for the first 3 nights as our WV was not available and to be honest we prefered the location of the WV's as you have the beach at your door and handy for infinity pool.
Have a lovely time |

Its swings and roundabouts really - the number of people snorkelling directly in front of the water villas put us off them a bit due to loss of privacy, but they are more convenient than the JWV for lots of other things. |

Hi Richie and Paul,
We visited Meeru last June and stayed in a Jwv for some time but we would have loved to have stayed in a water villa on the beach. We are now also returning in September and have booked a water villa on the beach...... you won't be dissapointed at all...... but that's just our opinion!!
I would suggest AI wether you're a drinker or non drinker every time!
Have a wonderful holiday you'll love it no matter what!

Hi, The sea villas look nice. However for more privacy, the JWVs are better. We could play music quite loudly yet outside on the jetty, you could barely hear a thing. This rule also applies to any other noise, and of course this works both ways. Your absolute privacy is assured in the JWVs. If you can afford it, go the whole hog and upgrade.

Were you a few doors up from us?! They had a thing for soft rock and we got to listen to it whether we liked it or not! |

No, we were in the 300s and as they are set at an angle, your immediate neighbour couldn't really hear or see you. Anyway soft rock, sounds like
they were German. |
