Good photo's Steve,

The ship looks massive, like a floating town. How many passengers does it carry?

Full its 2,800 approx (wth 3-4 to a cabin) this tends to me the norm on 3-5 day cruises (from USA)

Longer 10 day ones like the Caribbean was under 2000

It sounds a lot but the only time it was busy was meal times and average age of some put them in bed very early. We saw people on the same flight etc only once and that was at the end...good thing was it never felt over crowded.

Your right about it being like a town, they call it a city, every deck has its own power sub station, laundrette...the fact and figures are unbeliveable...

The 2009-2010 dates, pices etc are released on 18-24 April

I would reccomend this trip to anyone going to Barbados, the crew where brill and without them it would have been a lot less entertaining, the phrase "you dont have to be mad to work here" says it

Fantastic just what I wanted to read. Sounds like we are in for a treat.

We usually have a week on Meeru just before Xmas but wanted a change and other beach holidays never come up to the high standards of Meeru so thought we would have a change.

Thanks HJ for finding this and thanks Steve for writing it.

Meeru forum always comes up with the goods
