Hi Everyone

My fiancee and I are both looking forward to our wedding and honeymoon in September and have after much browsing decided to book Meeru after finding a great deal and of course this website which added the icing..javascript:emoticon('Wink')

We are spending a week all inclusive in JBV, and could do with some good tips for which would be good to request?? I'm not the greatest swimmers in the world and am more keen on being on land hence the JBV..

I want to find out more about island hopping?? and visiting local areas is this something i need to arrange for us from the hotel?

This will be followed by a week in Dubai to mix things up and change of scenery as we traveling with Etihad.

Any Ideas on weather around September as I know it falls under the wet season but still seems considerably warm and dry from the reviews I've come across so far.

Thanks and look forward to reading all your great posts over the coming months.

Kindest regards

Hi and welcome to the Forum

I am not the best swimmer either. We usually request a high 600's JBV as we like the beach there and you get to eat in the Adults only restaurant. But this is down to personal preference and you will find many opinions.

We have been 2 x in January, once in July and once in October. October was the hottest time we have ever had so I am sure you will be fine.

Just relax and love every min of your trip.

Lee

Thanks pal..

Appreciate your help and advice.. Did you do an advance request for a particular villa or just turn up?

ask to be in a range of numbers, rather than specific. You are more likely to be accomodated. Think you get more beach the closer you are to the Uthuru (adult only) bar. However, you may get passers by.... on their way tp eat/drink.

We've been in September 3 or 4 times, weather has always been fantastic. The rain is mostly at night. You'll have a fantastic time.
