I was just day dreaming about our holiday, which has got even better as we now have friends of ours are joining us on Vilamendhoo sunny

Having always had a direct flight to Male in the past, the only thing we are slightly concerned about is the transfer. Dubai's terminal 3 looks huge, is it fairly straight forward or all a bit hectic?

Still hectic sams..but better than it was. T3 is huge and still growing do not under estimate the transit from one flight to the other. This may involve the people mover train journey to the departures, so allow yourself 25 minutes at least for this journey alone (the train only takes about 5 mins though) its the walking to get there!

Only 94 days for us to Kandolhu..via Dubai again for us.

TBH we found it quite straight forward but we had three hours in between flights. A really good idea is around the seating areas you will find some showers which are pretty quite so we both took turns to get changed into fresh clothes and have a wash. It does not sound much but it made the next flight so much better. Also the macdonalds do a good big mac!!

Thanks for that Ivorfatarse, I think we have around 3 hours, a freshen up would certainly make the next flight a bit easier. And a big mac just before we leave for Vilamendhoo sounds good to me Wink
