Have stayed in the 600s and 200s this time I was thinking of requesting the 400s as we like the malan restaurant. Anyone stayed in this location who can give me their thoughts.

Not sure when you were last at Meeru but the new Farivalhu (completely rebuilt last year) is simply awesome - I speak as a long term Maalan fan who was wowed when given the change to sample it!

That said, your question was about the 400s. As with all room number ranges on Meeru there are lots of local advantages. Low 400s are very handy for the Pavilion bar / Infinity pool and it's a very short stroll to the other side of the island to the other pool from there. Highest 400s put you midway between the Maalan / Uthuru and the Pavilion Bar. Nowhere is really far from anywhere on Meeru as you already know.

Most of the 400s have the interesting pentagonal shape of the shoreline Water Villas too - I think there's just one with the more conventional 200s shape. They are well appointed and have been fairly recently fully refurbed too.

A very nice place to abide in other words...

Room 417 was ours for our first visit way back in 2000 and holds a special place in our hearts for that reason Very Happy .

We met you and Pam on our first visit in October 2007 I think it was, you were sat on the next table to us in the Malan. I did see the refurbished pictures of the other restaurant and was very impressed but still think I fancy the the other side of the island this time very difficult decision though.

Rings a bell that we've met.

Can't remember the exact circumstances at this distance but who knows we might all run into each other again in the future Very Happy .

We're going this October and were last there in October 2015 when you were there too!

We are planning another trip to Meeru Laughing Previously we have always stayed in the JWV 300's. We fancy a change and really liked the look of the Beach Villas near the Pavilion Bar (high 200's) What's people's experience of these villas?

Cheers
