I did offer to take on the Admin role but this was never taken up. 35 years of IT experience should be enough experience?
Still willing to help if the admin sees this.

Would love it if we could get an active admin to rescue the forum. I check back every few days but just keep seeing more and more spam.
Maybe as the Vaccine programme rolls out and people are able to travel more often we can start posting again but if I read one more essay writing spam link I'll scream  |

All cleaned up for now. Unfortunately there were some posts from 2005 that had more spam content than actual legit stuff so it was easier to kill the whole post.
Not too many of them but hopefully things are a bit cleaner.
Still nothing from the site owner about transferring ownership. |

Many thanks for clearing up the spam. Look forward to people posting again.
It would have been a shame if this forum ended as I’ve said before I don’t use Facebook etc and enjoy reading of people’s experience on here. |

I too don’t use FB, we would normally be on Meeru this time of year and I always thought “lack of funds” would be our reason for not returning, rather than “global pandemic “!
Getting my fix by going back over old posts, also our digital photo frame is taunting us with Meeru pics as I speak! 😫 |
