Always consult your doctor before starting any exercise program!

New exercise routine. If you're over 40, you might want to take it easy at first, then do it faster as you become more proficient. It may be too strenuous for some.

OK Great, thats enough for the first day, job well done. Now go have a beer.

I do believe a wheeled mouse uses more energy so I would say only excercise alternate days Jim.

Maggie,

For the first month I would suggest 5 reps per day is more than enough, anymore and your forearms will become dis-proportionate.

Slow and steady wins the race!

Mark

I'm a little concerned by your exercise programme.

I've followed your instructions as posted but you've made no mention of repeating on both sides. Am I supposed to use my own initiative here - or do I have to cross my fingers and hope that I don't end up with disproportionate fingers as well as hands. I'm aware that I mustn't cross my fingers whilst undertaking the exercise as I could end up in all kinds of trouble.

Think perhaps you may need to be a little more specific for those unfamiliar with exercise routines. Wink

I just had a word with an expert and I am told that the other hand should be used for holding a cup of tea therefore you have no worries.

Ahhhh, so I'm sorted then eating a packet of crisps while I do it..... burning off the energy with the other hand

Be careful you don't overdo things Lou, hands and mouth at the same time - would hate for you to sustain any injuries.
