Whilst in Australia many years ago I had a go at Diving but sadly didn't progress from the swimming pool as i kept having panic attacks with the breathing Rolling Eyes

I wanted to have another go at it when we go to Meeru later this year, do You need to book in advance or can I take a chance and book when we arrive ?

Anybody got any tips with the breathing ? I even get nervous with a snorkel Embarassed

Thanks

No need to book in advance but I would definately recommend you give it a go. The staff will look after you and they will build up your confidence. They are very professional, friendly and really know what they are doing.

My advice regarding your breathing problem is try to keep doing it! Laughing

You will be fine, just pop along to the dive centre for a chat and they will sort you out.

Do give it another go.
I was a very nervous learner 4 years ago and never thought I would be able to cope but really wanted to try.
The staff were wonderful-so patient and friendly. They seemed as pleased as I was when I succeeded in doing my Open Water course.I even went back the next year to do my Advanced course Very Happy
As Mark says no need to book-just go and explain how you feel and I'm sure they will be eager to help.
Good Luck!
Helen
