It's sometimes better to 'look outside the box' and catch the photo you never see.

I used a 35mm lens on my Canon 20D for that shot which I took back in 2006.

In old film 35mm frame terms, using a 35mm lens on a "crop" body like the 20D means the glass counts as a lens of around 56mm focal length. So it was by no means a wide angle picture; the lens was effectively a standard lens given it was on a 20D.

The stats for the photo are ISO 100, 35mm lens used at f13 with 1/160th sec exposure.

BTW using f13 aperture (making the lens 'squint') ensured foreground details and the far distance were all in focus.

Now i look at it yes i can see its not a wide angle but what a brilliant picture the angle is perfect and colour is amazing, clearly your a pro photographer
