Hi guys 'n gals,

We've booked our honeymoon and We're just a little excited. We have booked a watervilla as we thought it best of both worlds, right against the water yet we can get 10 nights for the same price as 7 in a JWV I've e mailed and aked if we could have 528 or 529 and were told although they can't guarentee exact rooms they will do their best.
My question is, I notice a snorkal icon in the sea just off our steps, is this a good area to snorkal? I'm a good swimmer but have never snorkalled before.

I'm also just a tad concerned about the loo being outside, is this ever an issue? Smile

Thanks for any help you can offer peops.
Mark.

Hi Mark,

I'm sure others will be able to advise the best places to snorkel, as although we are just about to return to Meeru for the 7th time, I am very lazy and lay on the beach, only snorkeling when visiting the house reef (which is a really good trip by the way).

My husband does take my son off and they have a bit of a snorkel around and they seem to see quite a bit whereever they are on the island, but I'm sure there are better bits than others!!

The outside bathrooms however, (in our opinion) really help to make our holiday...it's great having a shower outside in the lovely warm, and looking up at the sky....yes there are one or two ants sometimes, but not enough to cause any anxiety...if you really don't like them, speak to your room boy and he will leave you s spray that should sort the problem.

Congratulations on your wedding, hope you have a great time on Meeru.

Deb

Outside loo not really an issue you do get used to it haha! In the BVs/JBVs there's quite thick foliage and sometimes you see fruit bats staring down lol!

The snorkelling outside the WVs is fair, but good for beginners as it's really shallow and the currents aren't too bad there as well.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and if you have any more questions ask away! Very Happy

The WV's are excellent and as you say best of both worlds. I am sure you will like the fantastic outside rain shower, jacuzzi and loo as like others have said all adds to your holiday experience. Very Happy
The snorkelling around that area is good too right up to the Spa & 700 JWV'S but you will find that you can walk out in front of your villa and be able to see all sorts of fish darting in and out of the corals as well as plenty of black tip reef sharks swimming by Very Happy
Bet you can't wait, happy honeymoon Very Happy
Ann
