We are flying with emirates for the first time and wondered if anyone has any advice on what seats in economy if any are good, or any to be avoided?
Thanks in advance |

Hi sams,
Glasgow I assume? 777-300 ER gets you some 2 seats at the back of the aircraft rows 46, 47 & 48 AB & JK. Personally the worst out of this selection are seats 46AB & 46JK as these are slightly off centre from the 3 seats in front of these (footrest and monitor) and all of these seats will feel slightly more turbulence because of the rear location if this is an issue.
Very popular these sets of two and I would advise to pay your airfare to Emirates or agent earlier than the 10 weeks before as then seat selection would become available through manage my booking on Emirates website.
Seatguru website will show the plan for any other choice if you also want to avoid the wing.

We flew out to Auckland this year on the 777 with Emirates and we were able to select seats 46J & K for all the 3 legs ( last leg back from Dubai was on the A380). We thought these seats very good as you had room to the side ( as there are 3 seats in front of you) and you avoided having to ask someone to move every time you needed to stretch your legs or visit the bathroom.
We did seem to suffer a bit from turbulence but it didn't bother us. Overall we had good flight and thought Emirates were excellent. |

We certainly have Casey lol we are in a water villa and would like one on the odd side about half way along, or maybe one right at the end ?
Can't wait to see the house reef that's the main reason we chose Vila.
We were on Lily beach just across the water a few years ago, before they upgraded it and the sea life was amazing. |

You need an airline locator number from your travel agent. Usually given as soon as you pay for your flights (final balance) or pay for your flights with your deposit - input this into manage my booking on Emirates website and your itinerary will be available to alter for your requirements, seats, dietary requirements, assistance etc. Availability also shown regarding seat selection.

We paid our flights in full fairly early, as we wanted to be in the seats that were near the back in two's, found it really easy went to manage booking on emirates then entered our surname and booking ref number very straight forward. Good luck with it Ginny |
