Happy holidays to Ian & Jo looking forward to seeing some nice pictures and hearing some happy stories the forum has been too quiet 😞 can u find out for me if my favourite barman is still at the pavilion and if he will be there in September and also if he can do tea and coffee there? We liked to sit outside the uthuru after breakfast butt saw jetskis this morning 😞 Stuart said no problem we will just sit somewhere else always the optimist!

Yes, Happy holidays Ian and Jo, the weather looks amazing this morning!!

Shanksy, you can have tea and coffee in the Pavillion, I had many a cup of tea there over Christmas!!! It's just the banana milkshake they have to send out for.

Thanks Deb, I remember asking for an Iced Coffee once and whilst the man offered to go and get me one there was plenty else for me to choose from. Good to know though that we can go there in the morning and have tea/coffee if we want.

How random does tea on a beach in the Maldives over Christmas sound.....come to think of it hot as it is the curries are also amazing Smile Am I the only one that thinks these things sound out of place, but are amazing!

Thanks Shanksy and Deb, The weather looks particularly settled at the moment hope it doesn't change after full moon. I'll try to put some pictures up while we are there if the technology works. Shanksy the Bar Staff rotate around the Pavilion, Uthuru and Dhoni on I think a 4 week rota.

Looking forward to getting there on Saturday but not the Journey to Manchester Airport on the M6 on Good Friday #50mphroadworks nice.

Ian

Shanksy,

Our children always comment to us having tea when we are there, especially if it's during the day! They think we're mad, but mad as it sounds, I love a cuppu on the beach with a Rich Tea!!!

When are you due to arrive - that's the worst bit isn't the actual getting there but still not as bad as the journey home now that bit is very depressing......

Aw that's lovely that you're thinking of me (I think......) sorry to hear that the food was ruined I'd have thought everyone should have grabbed some whilst they ran for cover Wink

The WiFi had an ‘upgrade’ on Sunday evening. Now we seem to stay connected to the WiFi rather than having to log in each time. Also, I’d say we’ve had better connection too.
