Hi All,

New to the site and to Meeru. Claire and I are married on the 4th Feb and fly out on the 5th!! Can't wait...especially after reading some reports on this site!

One small question I have had in the back of my mind since a trip years ago AI to the Dominican, is how they serve the drinks at Meeru. Can anyone tell me if they use real or plastic glasses, and what size they are.

Not that I'm an alcoholic at all you see....this has just been bugging me for a while.

Thanks!
Steve & Claire Razz

Hiya,

All the drinks are in glasses. The wine is served in wine glasses (although they are a bit small Wink )

I think the beer is given in 1/2 litre glasses.

I don't mind how they serve the beer ..... so long as it's icccceeeeee cold!!

And I've heard that the milkshakes/smoothies are to die for.

If they taste anything like the Innocent Smoothies you can buy in sainsbury's, then I can see my self seriously OD-ing on the consumption of these gourgeous drinks.

Anyone tried the Pineaple/Banana/Coconut ...... mmmmmmm!!

Milkshakes and smoothes are not on the AI Crying or Very sad

It's just the basic beverages

The alcoholic drinks included in the all inclusive package are the house wine, red and white, unbranded spirits, lager and the cocktail of the day.
All are served in real glasses which calls for care around the pool area.
The lager is served in 1/2 pint glasses.
Only 9 days until I'll be sampling them myself!!
