1) What's it going to be like watching the FA Cup final and Champion's league final on Meeru? Good TV? Many people planning to watch?

2) I understand from old posts that there's a locals vs guests match every weekend, what about through the week? Do the locals let you join in with them on an evening, if so what time do they kick off?

Thanks in advance if anyone can offer some wisdom here. I think I've said it before but the astro turf pitch definitely swung it for me!

There is a match every evening about 4 o'clock, I watched a few last year and there were guests playing in some of the games. Watched some football in the new bar on a big screen the Cup Final should be good and the Champions League even better as they are Man U mad on Meeru, the staff love their football with a passion.

Well, whilst not a Man U fan I will be joining the Meeruvians in their support of them on the night of the final.

Cheers for the info Pearcey.

Hi

The staff play friendlies between the different sections every night. They might let you join in depending how many they have. You can play in the staff v guests on a sunday at 4pm but make sure you take your trainers as the the new astro turf pitch is great.

What are they like as players Chris? Would you advise I wear my shinpads?

How likely is it that I would get a game on most nights?

Shinpads would be a good idea as they take all the games very seriously and play to win at all costs.

Hi Dan

To be fair to them they take it serious but they are not dirty players unlike some of the players on our guest team who thought it funny to kick them. Just make sure you drink plenty of water as when i played 2 weeks ago it was 35 degrees and i sweated buckets.
They might let you join in through the week but their time between the sections on the pitch is precious to them so you may get on or not
